How to disrupt (destroy) The City
How to disrupt (destroy) The City, looks at how through the use of malicious compliance, autonomy can be fought for in the urban environment.
Cities are palimpsests of culture, ideology, and politics. As opposed to this creating a place that could belong to anyone, it creates a place that belongs to no one.As inhabitants of The City, it is a duty to ensure that one day autonomy can be gained over the environment. The systems of influence put in place must no longer be submitted to, instead The City’s systems must be weaponised against it.
The current guide uses walking (alongside other movements) to disrupt (destroy) The City.
Malicious compliance (also known as malicious obedience) is the behaviour of strictly following the orders of a superior despite knowing that compliance with the orders will have an unintended or negative result. It usually implies following an order in such a way that ignores or otherwise undermines the order's intent, but follows it to the letter.
