There is a dice sitting on a bedside table, it has four pips on top. It is then moved and rolled in the context of a game; it settles with an identical orientation to that which it had on the bedside table.

This is not the same object.

Inspired by Barad’s concept of Agential Realism, ‘Indeterminate Dice’ attempt to demonstrate that objects are created through interaction (intra-action), and do not posses existence outside of our intra-actions with them.

A dice which has a fixed value of four, is not the same object as when it merely shows four pips, it has been remade as an entirely new thing through its entanglement with a user/observer.
