With so many people living cramped, and powerless, in the most influential places on earth; it is of particular importance that we analyse these spaces to ensure they are as fair as possible.
Toby's work looks at how we interact with The City as inhabitants of it. He has a particular interest in cities as convergence points of information, ideology, and identity. Having grown up in a rural setting, and later moved to London, his work often stems from an interest in the varying identity he has because of this.
His work focuses on returning power to the user/inhabitant through a means of increased accessibility, specifically by using research as a repeatable designed outcome.
